Provisional beta draft — not yet in effect. Final legal review is required before families are invited.
Terms of service
Draft updated August 6, 2026.
Oraloom is a private app for preserving your family’s voices, stories, and photographs.
Your family’s content
You and your family own the memories, recordings, and photographs you add. You grant Oraloom only the permission needed to store, process, and show that content to members of your family and to operate the service.
You are responsible for having the right to record and share. Make sure another person agrees before recording them.
Acceptable use
- Use Oraloom only for your own family archive.
- Do not upload unlawful content or content that violates someone’s rights.
- Do not attempt to access another family’s archive or break the app’s security.
Everything published in a family is visible to that family’s members. Oraloom has no likes, comments, followers, public profiles, or view counts.
Notifications
Optional generic notifications may be sent when a story is added or someone joins. Delivery depends on Expo, Apple, and Google and is not guaranteed.
Accounts and deletion
Deleting an account removes the login, but shared memories remain with the family and the person remains in the archive as a preserved member.
No warranty
Oraloom is provided “as is” during this early period. We work hard to never lose a recording, but to the extent permitted by law we make no warranties and are not liable for indirect or consequential damages.
