Provisional beta draft — not yet in effect. Final legal review is required before families are invited.
Privacy policy
Draft updated August 6, 2026.
Oraloom preserves family voices and stories. We ask for as little as possible, and we never sell your data or use it to advertise to you.
What we store
- Your account email and authentication details.
- The members, memories, audio recordings, and photos your family creates.
- How much of a recording is listened to, solely to understand whether the archive is useful. This is never displayed as a public or family-visible count.
Notifications
If enabled, Oraloom stores a push token, platform, and language to deliver generic family notifications through Expo, Apple, and Google. Notifications contain no names, titles, family names, photos, durations, email addresses, or file locations. Delivery records are deleted within 30 days. Oraloom works fully without notifications.
Email and diagnostics
Account confirmation and password-reset emails are sent through the authentication provider; family-story content is not sent by email. Sentry processes scrubbed diagnostic reports containing technical event codes, internal record identifiers, byte counts, durations, and error types—but never recordings, photos, titles, paths, names, or email addresses.
Deleting your account
Deleting an account removes the login and notification registrations. Memories shared with the family remain in its archive, and the person remains as a preserved family member.
Processors
Data is processed by Supabase; for notifications, by Expo, Apple, and Google; and for scrubbed crash diagnostics, by Sentry.
